introduction: on August fifth this year the Jews will be sad. pubs and cinemas will be closed by law. that ensures that we will all be sad!
[if not for the historical tragedies, still for the closing of fun places]
The Jewish Mishna said: the afternoon before 9 ab do not eat meat. assuming the rabbis forbade this, it would take a foreign religion to forbid more days. for example if it referred to Monday afternoon, then noone forbade Sunday and even further is the week before!
if meat relates to the temple sacrifice, those were sheep and doves, so it should not include chicken nor turkey, yet the religious Jews will not even eat turkey nor chicken and will fast from Monday night until Tuesday night because "they mourn" in conflict with Jewish law that a mourner eats! EATS! the comfort meal called habraa.
To forbid meat and even chicken for many more days and fast when the rabbis of mishna never did, never said to fast when listing the tragedies, which does match the comfort meal!, we see that the rabbis in our time have laws as foreign from Judaism, as the laws of the holy Quran!
