the Israeli Newspaper Haaretz always emphasizes free speech. Although in my opinion, sometimes it pushes the borders, it serves an important purpose such as when they published information in 2012 about many parents choosing not to circumcise their son. more and more are straying from the mainstream and letting their son remain "whole"
an issue that other newspapers would rather not write about
similarly it gives voice to Israelis and arabs to say how they feel about the death of arabs in Gaza.
free speech is important as long as it does not encourage violence.
we should discourage those who encourage violence, and should allow people to say their opinions as long as they do not celebrate the death of others
