comparing the four gospels

part of the christian faith is "belief" in the book, which contains four gospels- as a holy book not to deny, and to accept even before reading. as the student is exposed to the contents he claims "this is also true"
however one may approach the four gospels differently, and we can compare them.
three of them are synoptic and have already been compared by scholars.
I own a book which aligns the sections of the three synoptic gospels with each other.
glaring inconsistencies are not at the core of the faith- but one is the lineage of jesus in which both the lineage in matthew, with the number 42, and the different lineage in luke are true- and
NUMBERS ARE NOT IMPORTANT
or as one christian told me "this does not bother me"- well it should if honesty and truth is/were important.
Who was the grandfather of jesus?
according to matthew: jacob but according to [matthew oops] luke 3- someone else.
i will not put effort for what i already have a book about, hence remains to compare john to the three- and of the three the only one that claims to be "according to the order" is luke and this is significant because according to luke AFTER jesus entered and was greeted "blessed is he who comes", he went to the temple and chased out the sale- and this is the "order", in contrast to john which was not "according to order" and the same story appears in chapter 2, long before the entry when he was greeted by hosanna blessed is he who comes.
one may claim it happened twice but i think it is the same story which occurred- once and after the reception because luke wrote in order- as he claimed in luke 1 while john never claimed to write in order and wrote a later story, earlier.
on this background i compared the story from the reception of "blessed is he who comes" until jesus arrest and brought to pilate-
and discovered that the versions in luke and john are very different
the christian faith is: all the details of each story are true-
because first begin with faith and second find out what the true book says however what about reversing the other first read the book and then decide if it is true or not- that would be blasphemy.
and worse would be pointing out the contradiction mentioned in the previous post- about not yet eating the passover, after the day of the passover. cough.
but that should not bother anyone-
unless truth and honesty were important-
at least at the "core of the faith" story of resurrection.
anywho-
the hebrew versions, which have fewer words than english, total over 6000 words from the reception of blessed is who who comes, until the arrest and brought to pilate, in luke [19.1-23.1] chosen because it is in order as above+ plus the parallel story in john from the chapter with the reception hosanna blessed is he who comes- until the arrest for pilate- and reveal very different stories and even minor inconsistencies exist-
for example when exactly did peter deny 3 times? compare and see-
can two differing versions "both truly" be what actually occurred? if faith demands ignoring your own opinion, honesty is not important.
whatever-
we should not "nit pick" with questions like "when exactly".
if we look at luke and john as witnesses writing, we cannot trust them alone- unless they support each other-
only if we start with faith, that "this whole book is true", then believe each of the differing versions- but what about the other order?
we have a book with four versions. now, which points support each other?
from the stories which accumulate a total of over 6000 words - six thousand in john and luke, 6350, of them less than 99 "words of story" support each other- less than one sixtieth!
1/60 !!
not only searching for identical words- which are even fewer- but comparing the "idea" and the "story" less than one hundred words "of story" support each other- as two witnesses.
for me that means that 59/60 the rest- is not supported.
what remains, will appear in the next post but i would not accept one witness alone- besides those points which both luke and john support each other-
and in the order of luke- but only what is in john and also in luke. the result will appear next time and it is very short.
**the "bottom line"
from chapter 12-18 of john and even longer chapters in luke- less than one hundred words are supported by both witnesses.
