creationism

1 in response to a thought provoking fictional-episode:
2
biblical ideas have strongly and greatly influenced our culture-
this generation of americans was born into a culture with christian values-
to demonstrate just how much influence-
SUBJECT: HIT
in the US many states- almost 20 in 2014- specifically permit the hitting of a child-
and in the span of the last three decades (from 1985-2015) many states have finally abolished this immoral biblical idea-
in the past I have questioned here "if the quran is noble" and "if the bible is holy" and now I focus on 2 specific concepts.
hittng kids for "education" and punishment-
around twenty states abolished hits in the past three decades and only five "moral" states showed that they achieved "moral enlightenment" sooner than the others- in the period before 1985
I did not know how severe the situation was !!
it tears my heart TEARS MY HEART to consider the pain of physical beatings multiplied by thousands of students-

"A federal data analysis found that on average, one child is hit in public school every 30 seconds somewhere in the United States." (September 2014)

by teachers for education and punishment-
[besides the student to student violence- not the subject of this article]
consider "in school" which means that the annual/yearly average is "thinned" because during summer vacation-months, zero students are in school- the rate of paddling the kids during the school year is that much more frequent- gasp
also consider "public school" where there is supervision-
only god knows how much more pain in "private schools" of christians and jews- who obey proverbs and mishna [also mentioned in a previous post about "fantastic four" please see later- link provided]-
parents often grant permission for teachers to paddle the children
"In many places, parental permission is required and often given"
in this century- from the year 2000 [anno domini] pennsylvania and delaware still allowed paddling the kids- a cruel immoral and painful method- [which i condemn]
until finally like new-mexico they abolished- in contrast to their "more moral" neighboring state "new-jersey" which abolished the immoral christian concept as early as 1867 following the end of the civil war- at least in public schools-
would you send your child to a school where they can have pain?
of course not- unless the exception of religious pain-
influenced by religion- we see that religion is powerful enough to convince us to pain our child and even influence non-christians- gasp
3
I beg you all to take the side of protecting kids, and anti-pain, and spread the word to parents and your state senators- check if your state is moral yet, and protest immoral pain.
I am convinced that pain is bad and harmful and even immoral
can this be supported scientifically?
obviously pain is observable and measurable-
the same way "experts" of nutrition have studied and listed "good" foods versus "bad" foods in the spectrum between:
beneficial "nutricious" food and harmful "poisons"-
which our culture forbids mixing into foods-
in the same way we can study and classify the activities which are "beneficial" and which "harmful" to the people of a society and ban the "poison" of pain activities.
!!
this is what is occurring when a state abolished the immoral christian idea- and can be performed in other states and for other harmful activities.

it shocks me that christians apply a message, from the book called "proverbs", while ignoring the traditional name of the book "proverbs"- this message is a proverb and proverbs are not literal and not as written but like Aesops fables and the hebrew name for the book mashal is even more clear-
we hit animals to train them- and animal rights people protest that- but kids are different-
they should not be hit but there is no outcry NO OUTCRY to protect kids- so I provide a link to one such moral group- below.
this is even more shocking when we consider that all the other ideas in the jewish bible like the jewish holidays in leviticus (23) are only for jews- christians do not celebrate yom kippur etc. yet somehow pain to children-
is the one they selected and preferred- over all the others as an exception-
christian society shows by its actions that "everything in the
old testament is  f o r  j e w s  o n l y   and we are not jews" except pain for kids-
that concept is the one which the religious leaders prefer-
yet pain is bad and immoral.
the faith in a creator [book genesis] led to the belief that some books are holy and therefore god himself commands parents/teachers to hit their child
5
SUBJECT: HIT = CREATION
as much as the idea of hitting kids had spread through the US and existed for centuries and widespread- until finally many states- finally are abolishing the law which permitted corporal/body punishment- and "New Mexico, in 2011" abolished this permission-
the following site shows: when states abolished the christian idea of pain to children and other relevant information from the year 2008 [around seven years ago].
http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0934191.html
***as of 2014 "19 states still allow children to be hit in public school," and considering that pain is bad and immoral I strongly condemn this culture-
american culture is bad. there are worse cultures as well. and the cause is the devil called the bible and religion.
***my point is- mainly to encourage you to protect children and condemn religion based on its cruel evil fruit- however the point of this example is something else-
these statistics demonstrate the great and strong influence the bible has on our culture-
while adults comprehend that pain to an adult is BAD-
no adult should hit an adult nor pain an adult
somehow pain of kids is "somehow different"-
pain of kids is what god commanded- in a f-ing proverb ! and to the people of moses-
but who cares about such details-
this lengthy discussion is all to describe how american society was impacted by the powerful influence of the bible- on that culture- it demonstrates just how widespread belief in the faith that "god created the earth"
so when you do not hear about the horrors performed by the slaves of islam- and then hear a bit of the pain performed in the name of islam- do not think american culture is "moral" or even less cruel- because 19 states still allow cruelty and
***america lacks a "moral government decision" to demand states to "stop/end pain in the name of religion" in america.

therefore when we want to offer an alternative to creation performed by god
the alternative will be similar to what is "common" belief
on this background- the origin of life [different from origin of "species", darwins book]- instead of "god did it" - we search for something more "plausible" and able to believe-
it is bound to be similar to the common belief-
the sentence "god created the world" only loses the word "god" and becomes the earth formed- without god-
we must use familiar concepts- and we ARE familiar with gravity-
this itself is under the influence of the bible- it is bad to "drive under the influence" of alcohol=dui because dui is dangerous for the driver and the people around the dui. similarly influence of the bible- to continue...
so we apply what is "near and close to" our experience-
and imagine that the matter "curved" the space around it [called gravity force] so other matter gathered and the earth was formed-
it is not "near" our experience to say a human created the planet-
similarly when we discuss living cells which reproduce new cells R and have a metabolism M of absorbing and changing the molecules from what enters- to what is "needed"- [single celled bacteria as well as a multi-celled organism like a human]-
the choices are: god made life or something similar- life formed without god-
we apply what is "near and close to our experience"
in science we observe minor changes-
therefore "near our experience" is to suggest "minor changes" from matter and after many "phases" became life- that can absorb molecules and change them to what the cell needs- just without the god bit
when we hear the theory of some scientists- life on earth because existing life was brought and "seeded" the earth- by other life-forms, why do we reject that? it is bad because it is not "near" our experience.

if you have a headache from this long article do not fear- the next part is easier and hopefully more pleasant-
on this background we can analyze a fictional episode of stargate- there are many good ones but for now i focus on creationism
the stargate fictional realm has life-forms taking slaves- both a slave body to serve as host [the takers live in the hosts] and slaves to serve other purposes- and bring them from planet to planet- [for example when the defeat of ra was imminent, therefore humans were transferred so they could be farmed to serve the enslavers]
in this specific episode we meet aliens who believe in creation
CREATION
god told them that he created them on that planet-
admittedly god in that realm is a limited non-god who cannot create-
and is not "true" even for that specific group of "non-hosts".
anyway that is what the people believe, although this is in conflict with the other faith of that planet that life was brought from another planet- they were told by god, "i created you" and this serves the purpose of taking them as hosts later- and to deny "brought from another planet" because then they would be slaves who deserve freedom-
anyway, this episode assists me to challenge our society-
in that realm people are moved planet to planet and it is easy to question the faith in creation-
we see those who insist INSIST that god said they were created by hin on that planet to serve that god- exactly what jews and christians and muslims are told in our reality
are we like those who believe in a book that said "god created us on this planet" the same as those people?
admittedly the alternative that we were brought to earth by other life forms is "far" from our experience- and is as bad as "seeded" which is not plausible-
but the alternative should not be "influenced" by a book that says to pain children !
we should not be dui- under the influence of a harmful cruel evil book- which demonstrates by its contecnts about its cruel evil writers-
the bottom line and conclusion- should we be believing, we who exist in our "non-fiction" reality- what those aliens believe- that god created us on this planet? hmm...
for more information on protecting children please see

there are other options besides immoral pain of hits-
and
http://tomsawyerssongs.blogspot.co.il/2015/08/fun-summer-vacation-song.html
it rips my heart that not only immoral pain of circumcision- itself is a problem but circumcision decisions of parents set "the tone" for parents to grant permission to hit their children.
