Jesus in Nazareth

4 BC  Jesus returned from egypt to galilee when archelaus became ruler in 4 BC mathew 2
4 bc archelaus ruled judea for 9 years and was cruel to judaea and even samaria
4 bc antipas rule in galilee by decision of augustus emperor to divide
3 bc jesus at least age 2 and live in nazereth
2 bc jesus at least age 3
1 bc jesus at least age 4
no 0 bc
no 0 ad=because if a date is choosen as the end of bc only possible one year before that date=1 bc and 1 year after that point=1 ad
1 ad jesus at least age 4 [4,3,2,1,1 from january 1, 4 bc until january 1, 1 ad only 4 years]
6 the ninth year of archelaus [4bc-6ad]  augustus emporer removes archelaus
6 judaea under direct roman rule and soon after this: revolt in galilee disturbing jesus' childhood in galilee area in city nazareth, revolt mentioned in acts 5.37=jewish war page 126
14 augustus died and tiberius emporer
14 ad tiberius emporer [he appoints pilate]
29 in 15 of tiberius john prepares luke 3.1
now it is clear that the end of matthew chapter 2 that "jesus lived in nazareth" refers to living in nazareth from 4 bc when archelaus approved, until john prepares in 15 of tiberius=more than 30 years
if so the number 30 in luke is an estimate- a low estimate
while jesus lives in nazareth the major events were
archelaus cruel in judaea
archelaus removed 6 ad antipas continues in galilee
philip founded caeseria near jordan river called caeseria philipi
revolt in galilee about tax! jesus said pay tax
augustus emperor replaced by tiberius
john prepares=matthew 3 - in 15 of tiberius as luke 3 after jesus lived in nazareth 33 years
trailer next: pilate and the statues
