ebola and mers [virus]

remember back in october of 2014
the media told us about the "greatest threat" of ebola virus
I, like many others, panicked - then
"discovered that media reports incited sizable public concern before a 'boredom' effect prevailed."
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2015/06/150615162858.htm
people recovered from "the greatest threat"
there are updates
but until I heard about mers virus [coronavirus- does that make you happier?] which means Middle-East [that is the first two letters M and E of the name] I forgot about the "greatest medical threat"
even mers has many recoveries from the sickness already.
in south korea there are many sick people still after seeing the recovery in saudi arabia of hundreds there is no cause to panic
back in 1969 billy graham told everyone jesus is "coming a second time" simply look at the current events- thirty years passed and they tried again at the millenium...
when will I learn that most of this stuff is exagerated to make a sensation?
unrelated
i read a report on computer usage in arab countries
back in 1985 most of the computers in lebanon were for banks and government to manage records and they were the only ones with enough money to buy computers then in contrast to a richer arab country where many private had computers for small businesses as well as government.
two stats caught my attention
the problem of software copying- as in western countries the arab countries had the same problem.
700 million dollars were lost because of copying software programs [then on floppy disks if you remember those, you are young- if you never saw one you are "younger" and if you cannot recall them then you are "old"]
in the "west bank" of the jordan river students studied computer science but almost no businesses used computers and "only 5 of 85" students who completed the courses had work
so they tried "emigrating" to richer arab countries and were prevented by "difficulties" to enter arab countries
this caught my attention because it was not based on the belief that "the arab-race is bad" but for some other reason and this can shed light when a member of a different race does something to a citizen of that zone- it might not be based on "race".
