June 21 has arrived and summer has begun. The days are now the longest.

For days that are long 

I wrote a good song

vacation from school

I feel very hot

it's hard to stay cool

The Jewish Temple

Many people are curious about the Jewish temple. There are 2 versions about the Jewish temple. I only like one yet I will write both

According to the Jewish tradition in Babylonian Talmud Aboda Zara 9a, the temple stood for34+180+103+103=420 years which is 386 years from the beginning of Greek control of

Judea

The temple was destroyed in 70 CE =70 AD source Encyclopedia Judaica [=ej] T p.960

in the Jewish count that year is called 3830 from the creation of Adam[=FCA] in Genesis chapter 1

If we accept the Talmud's claim that the temple stood for 420 years, then we know it was built in 350 BCE=350BC

why

??

70-420=-350

at least according to the Rabbinic narrative. That year was  3410 FCAfrom the creation of Adam

According to this Jewish tradition, the Greek control of Judea began 70-386=316 BCE

This is more than 7 years wrong because we know that Alexander the Great DIED in 323 BCE AFTER CAPTURING JUDEA

instead of "fighting for the version" and insisting the temple was NOT destroyed in 70 [-332+386=54 or other tricks], I concede that the Talmud Rabbis were wrong because they did not know Greek history when they wrote the talmud after 420 CE 700 years later

the skin, removed by routine infant circumcision, is not cancer which must be removed, but rather it is healthy skin which provides a layer of protection, among other purposes

removing the foreskin removes a layer of protection

although modern medicine in the USA does circumcision, they do admit

it seems good to decide not to cut the baby and wait for the son to reach age 18 years and choose which doctors to believe

Some people defend religious custom by saying "this is healthy" to do whatever but we should check for ourselves what doctors recommend and in this instance even the USA culture specifically "does not recommend" as quoted in the Journal of the American Medical Association

despite not saying it is "harmful" [the word used by doctors opposing circumcision] they still admit they they cannot recommend this attack with a knife on a bbabies genital

finally, as mentioned in this quiz, many people tell themselves

IT DOES NOT HURT

slaughtering animals with a knife is good because IT DOES NOT HURT

circumcision is good because IT DOES NOT HURT

HOWEVER

not only is it evil to pinch a baby, while claiming the baby will not remember that i pinched him but worse than this, doctors have studied that the pain of circumcision is the degree of pain of pulling out a tooth without anesthetic

so if you tell yourself "it does not hurt" you are just lying to defend something cruel

claiming it "violates ethics" to pain a baby

it seems this group does not choose and may not choose

the jewish name for the bible is not law either but teach

the bible is called tora=teach=what is taught and the mishna is called mishna=what is read

neither are called law

an example of a mishna is "thirteen to commands" which produced the idea of the cultural "bar mizva" celebration

age 13 for commands [studying commands based on the context] this is the basis for a celebration when a boy reaches 13

ironicly the same source continues recommending "marriage at age 18" which is rejected specificly by the religious jews who usualy claim "the mishna is the wisdom of god
